Why Did Sarah Palin Resign As Governor Of Alaska?

sp resigNo one has ever really been given a good answer to this. Sure Palin pretended it was about ethics complaints and the money it was costing her family, but I don’t think too many people swallowed that excuse. A comment from a poster as IM yesterday caught my eye.

Anonymous1:25 PM

Here is why Sarah will NEVER willingly endorse Dan from Ohio Sullivan for any elected position.

“Ohio” Dan Sullivan was handpicked for AG by the Parnellites because Talis from Wasilla and Wayne Anthony Ross weren’t gittin’ it done. (She had never even heard of him! She didn’t even want to interrupt her schedule to interview him.)

With “Ohio” Dan on the job (for two weeks) Team Sarah made the mistake of thinking he was another Palin panty sniffer. . Team Sarah foolishly informed AG Sullivan about one of their little high school type vendettas. They were likely breaking a number of laws (even arguably making false reports to law enforcement.) They let the AG in on what turned out to be the final straw for Gov. Sarah.

OOOPS!

I don’t think Dan from Ohio wanted any of that hanging over his head. He’s smart enough to know what a criminal conspiracy is. He was informed because he was AG. He would have been unable to deny that he had been informed. The problem could go away if Sarah Palin quit. That’s the biggest reason she quit so suddenly when she did. Even Sarah was surprised. It messed up her 4th of July holiday plans with her family at the mansion in Juneau!

Yeah she wanted out, yeah she was already planning to leave, but this mistake by Team Sarah did it and fast.

Another Troopergate style investigation with probably more real crimes? How about just run her out the door and slam it shut behind her. The AK Republican party could flush her down the memory hole and get back to pimping for big daddy gas and oil. Reverse her tax scheme? You betcha! Ever hear about the rest of the entire country being on the hook for about $45 Billion to finance the new Parnell secret gas line? If you haven’t you will. The gasline federal financing guarantees are already a done deal.

Now you never know if someone is actually telling the truth, so you have to take it with a grain of salt. Nevertheless, I was intrigued and decided to have a little snoop in her emails. Sure enough, Palin had never heard of Sullivan.

agAnd she didn’t want to be bothered with the interview either. She was going to some place where there had been flooding, and suggested an interview over the telephone. I don’t have that link at the moment (it got lost in a blizzard of emails), but it is there. I’ll try and find it and bring it to you later. 😉

So two of the comments that the poster had made were correct! Aha. Dan Sullivan was appointed AG in June sometime. When I checked the emails for Dan Sullivan, there was a lot of correspondence about David Kernell, the young man who had opened her yahoo account. I will tell you this much. She is one vindictive bitch. She was not going to let that go.

ag2That same day…

ag3A few days later…

ag4And there is more in that email about David Kernell and the trial. She was really fixated on Kernell in late June. Remember, she resigned on the 3rd of July, 2009. She was very busy trying to make it as bad for him as she possibly could.

By the 1st of July, her staff were asking her about her plans for the 4th.

ag5Sounds like Sarah didn’t feel like partying. I wonder why? And then this email was sent on July 4th.

ag6Now, I wonder what the discussion was about the *New AG* on the 4th of July? Did Palin try to *Wootten* Kernell and supply false information to law enforcement? I have no idea, but the emails make for some very interesting reading.

Part two can be found here. It gets better!

  2. From: Palin, Sarah
    To: Nizich, Michael

P.S. Just gotta say thanks for all your red-acting! if moar red states really were red-acting instead of just red-talking, me n my family could enjoy celebrating the start of the civil war this 4th along with all the other rill ‘murricans instead of havin’ to freakin’ work …

Keep up the good work Ms. Sleuth! Those redacted emails must have some very juicy info! The chickens may be coming home to roost!

There were a lot of emails pertaining to David Kernell that were redacted. One wonders why? And I couldn’t really concentrate as I had to make steak and chips for dinner but I did try and save them on Microsoft Word so that I wouldn’t have to slog through them again.

Maybe they outline how they were planning to “get” Kernell. Bristol perjured herself in court. Another reason could be they were doing damage control, discussing all the “state business” she was conducting on an unsecured account.

I was a little surprised that Kernell’s attorney didn’t go after Bristol’s lies. Also the sentence seemed harsh considering he didn’t hack her account. Guessing someone’s weak password is not hacking.

The only other emails that were of interest around that time involved Andree McLeod (ethics complaint) and Claire McCaskill (she was involved in some sort of investigation into Native Coorporations). They didn’t like that!

Great work IrishGirl! Sure she was planning on quitting, as she had so many great offers to make easy money, but she couldn’t take advantage of them as long as she was governor. Besides, she couldn’t handle the job, and was under scrutiny due to having run for VPOTUS in 2008. However, this does seem to prove that she resigned before she was ready, and it does explain her frantic resignation speech.

Scarah really is a piece of work. There was another interesting comment on IM~they posted a link to an October 2008 article in the Village Voice. Very, very interesting article~wish I had the link but it could probbly be searched for on the ‘voice.

This is also interesting… a military Chaplin went off on Palin during her visit in Kosovo? And she’s looking for apologies – and (maybe much) more?

    Hi Irishgirl,

that’s really an excellent post, and yes, the truth could be there, more or less hidden in these emails. Hopefully we will find out one day for certain. I get the feeling that in Alaska it will takes decades for the truth to emerge…but hopefully not that long.
