Trickle-Down

Or as Paul Ryan says…

“We have lots of laws that aren’t being properly enforced. We need to make sure we enforce these laws. But the best thing to help prevent violent crime in the inner cities is to bring opportunity in the inner cities, is to help people get out of poverty in the inner cities, is to help teach people good discipline, good character. That is civil society. That’s what charities, and civic groups, and churches do to help one another make sure that they can realize the value in one another.”

Take a running jump Paulie!

When I heard this I wanted to hurl. He is such a pompous little shit and a coward. Never a word on how he will “help”, just bullshit piled on top of more bullshit.

Then let us pray that come it may –
As come it will for a’ that –
That sense and worth, o’er a’ the earth,
    May bear the gree, and a’ that;
For a’ that, and a’ that,
It ‘s coming yet for a’ that,
That man to man, the warld o’er,
Shall brothers be for a’ that!
    Robert Burns . 1759-1796

It’s coming yet – we can’t stop fighting the pompous little shits and cowards.

Blame the poor for not being rich. Meanwhile, Ryan got rich by becoming a politician and marrying an heiress.

Major 80s flashback! This guy is a real life Alex P. Keaton without the heart or smarts.

And without the looks. He just looks like an arrogant brat I’d love to see slapped.

  5. Mary Barbour says:

The question asked of Ryan was about gun violence. Ryan immediately turned it into an inner city problem. I think that’s code for we’re not going to do anything to help out people in those areas. I know there’s a lot of gun violence in cities, but where did the last several gun massacres occur? Columbine, Sikh temple, Tucson, Aurora, on and on…I don’t think any of those were in “inner cities”.

By the way, the woman in that photo was very young at the time, I think in her 20s. Pretty sad.

    • deadtreereader says:

Let’s face it, all of us who aren’t either wealthy, Ayn Rand worshipers, or Mormon, are just grist for their mill and will be collateral damage as they build their version of the world. NOT, I pray.

    • And let’s not forget how Sarah jumped into the Tucson massacre with her “it’s all about me” blood libel video where she looked like someone had popped a cap of thorazine into her.
Look, as long as it’s “teh poor” they don’t care about gun violence. In his own way, this woman in the photo above has at least 10 times the CHARACTER that Ryan will ever achieve.

    • Don’t forget, he was discussing Flint and also Detroit, not only inner cities that are filled with minority youths that have no jobs and no future. The poverty in Michigan is stunning, particularly in these areas.

It has NOTHING to do with character – or growing up – it has to do with living with no future.

Paul Ryan is a sick, twisted perverted piece of human garbage. He doesn’t care about people – he’s a money wonk. He sends off his little sidebars and clever sounding Ayn Randian quips trying to appear smart and in control. He’s pathetic.

Vice President Biden will call Lyin’ Eddie Munster Ryan out tonight at the debate, but in the words of a frustrated teevee dancer, “You can lead a horse to water….”
but you can’t make him THINK!
Squirm, maybe, Think, not so much.

Here’s hoping the little fecker joins the ranks of the unemployed after the election, that he loses his government jobs, any of ’em, all of ’em. Who knows? Lyin’ Ryan may enjoy getting trickled on.
    Bring on the debate!
    and GOTV also, too.

    • I’m betting Ryan will try and be all “GOPer in charge” .. and talk over Biden – and be rude and interrupt because all of his Ivy League Schools didn’t teach him class or manners. He truly is representative of those who have money but remain “trailer trash” – it’s not about poverty or character – it is about circumstances frequently beyond a person’s control.
Ryan is a vicious violent man.
