This picture was taken in the LES, NY, NY last summer. I was staying with TumbleWeed, a hick from Kansas. I remember saying to TW just before Bubbles arrived, this lady dresses like a princess. Sure enough, I opened the door and there was this princess.

I only had the pleasure of meeting her one time and sharing a meal with her and Irishgirl last summer and she was a wonderful dinner companion. Plus! That woman didn’t just ‘walk’…..she Sashayed in the most understated but delightful way. I remember walking behind her and wondering how she did that and if there was anyway I could get my non-existent hips to move like that. (<—no). She was unique and I am glad I had the opportunity to meet her in person.

      Rest in Peace Bubbles.

I still can’t believe she’s gone. I can still feel her here in my home loving on the new puppy the way she loved Pili, whom she called a magic dog. I like to imagine Pili was there to meet her.
