Sarah Palin And Denali, The Great One

Before Sarah Palin blasts out a Facebook post about President Obama renaming Mount McKinley, Denali – I want to remind her of this…an excerpt from her farewell speech.

“Soaring through nature’s finest show. Denali, the great one, soaring under the midnight sun. And then the extremes in the winter time. It’s the frozen road that is competing with the view of ice fogged frigid beauty. The cold though, doesn’t it split the Cheechakos from the Sourdoughs?

And then in the summertime such extreme. Summertime, about a hundred and fifty degrees hotter than just some months ago, than just some months from now. With fireweed blooming along the frost heaves and merciless rivers that are rushing and carving and reminding us that here, Mother Nature wins and it is as throughout all Alaska that big wild good life teeming along the road that is north to the future.”

    Well done, Irish!

I don’t have much use for WS, but he sure nailed this one.

However, I don’t think SP will have much to say on this issue though, since I believe the State of Alaska reverted to the name Denali some 40 years ago.

Sarah Palin is so stupid, she probably didn’t even know that Denali and Mount McKinley are the same mountain. So she can’t be held responsible for her hypocrisy.
