What boggles my mind is that anyone would take a contribution from an organization that is designated as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center – and, if they didn’t know, their abysmal ignorance alone disqualifies them for political office.

The Council of Conservative Citizens (CCC) is the modern reincarnation of the old White Citizens Councils, which were formed in the 1950s and 1960s to battle school desegregation in the South.

Thanks Irish for the list. I see my Sen. Flake made the list. I just finished contacting his office, asking what he intends to do with this $1000 contribution.

I also see that the newly elected senator from Louisiana is also on the list. Doesn’t surprise me in the list.
