🙂 (Aww, liberals just have NO sense of humor..)

Republicans Admit: That Iran Letter Was a Dumb Idea

“Republican aides were taken aback by what they thought was a light-hearted attempt to signal to Iran and the public that Congress should have a role in the ongoing nuclear discussions.”

“The administration has no sense of humor when it comes to how weakly they have been handling these negotiations,” said a top GOP Senate aide.

WASHINGTON — Republicans, under fire for a letter signed by 47 senators to the leadership of Iran, said Tuesday that complaints about violating foreign policy convention should be leveled not at them, but at President Barack Obama.

“Did Obama write the letter? No. Did Obama ask them to write the letter? No. Did Obama sign the letter? No. Could we get some personal responsibility from the supposed party of personal responsibility? Apparently not.
They have turned in to 4yr olds blaming their baby brothers for wetting their own beds.”

This story has gotten a slow start because the MSM (GOP) must have put the kabosh on it because they did such a stupid thing and didn’t need to broadcast it far and wide. Since they have taken over MSNBC it didn’t get BREAKING NEWS status for hours on end like a train accident or a plane that slid off the runway. Nothing to see here…..but you can believe every Clinton email will be front page news everywhere. BENGHAZI! Now they saying it was a joke and cheeky! Guess they were drunk and just mooning the Dems! Hardy Har!

Lumpy little Johnny McCain should retire, or go into a nursing home. Like the Bush crime family, he was born into privilege, then screwed up EVERYTHING he touched. His father and grandfather were admirals in the navy. They got him into the naval academy where he graduated 895th from a class of 899. Guess he must have been studying his naval the entire time. He has crashed 5 multi million $$$ jets. Bailed out by daddy. He really thought he would be annointed President on his POW status alone since he is not very smart. He will NEVER forgive President Obama for not being born wealthy, being highly intelligent, mostly though for being BLACK. McCain showed his disrespect for this country by running the bird brained $carah PayMe as his VP. Little Johnny wanted to do what he has done his entire life, get what he wants with no effort whatsoever. A man who calls his wirfe a cunt in front of reporters is not presidential material. He is truly a disgusting excuse for a human.

Finally what has been called this “political abomination” is being attacked in newspapers all over the country.

  7. ProfessorCanine says:

“Indeed, a legislator in his home state of Arkansas has just introduced a bill that would allow Cotton to run for both re-election to his Senate seat and for president in 2020.
On paper, Cotton looks like a dream politician with nowhere to go but up — Iraq veteran, Harvard Law School graduate, the youngest senator at 37. It’s only when you listen to him talk and hear what he believes that you come to realize he’s a complete crackpot. During the 2014 campaign he told voters that the Islamic State was working with Mexican drug cartels and would soon be coming to attack Arkansas. When he was still in the Army he wrote a letter to the New York Times saying that its editors should be “behind bars” because the paper published stories on the Bush administration’s program to disrupt terrorist groups’ finances (which George W. Bush himself had bragged about, but that’s another story).”

  8. Is he not just the most brilliant thing? He told a constituent (uninsured) to NOT sign up for Obamacare or her information would be stolen by Russian agents.

  9. ProfessorCanine says:

“On all matters relating to Israel and the Middle East in general, AIPAC writes the legislation (or letters, resolutions, etc) which are then handed over to legislators to drop in the hopper, gather cosponsors, and get it passed or sent. Not only that, the ideas for these initiatives come out of AIPAC rather than (as is usually the case with lobbies) starting with the Member of Congress who then asks the lobby for help with drafting. AIPAC does it all, from soup to nuts.
I know this because back in my days working as a Congressional aide, I participated in that process. Mea culpa!”
