I made the point a few days ago in relation to Palin going to Cambridge and Fox news spewing lies about Muslim no go areas in the UK and France that, and I quote myself – “I told you that the kind of shit that is acceptable in the USA, will just not go down well on this side of the pond.”
David Cameron and the French media called Fox out for their lies. And guess what happened? Well of course the international community immediately became aware of and highlighted the Islamophobic belchings of the right wing nut jobs who purport to give fair and balanced news. Faced with this barrage of criticism, Fox had no alternative but to apologize.

To recap: once upon a time last week, Fox’s terrorism commentator Steve Emerson claimed that there were certain neighborhoods and towns completely overrun with a Muslim population so fierce that even police wouldn’t enter them: according to him, there are “actually Muslim religious police that actually beat and actually wound seriously anyone who doesn’t dress according to religious Muslim attire.”
To be clear, there is no formal designation of these zones in either country… and no credible information to support the assertion that there are specific areas in these countries that exclude individuals based solely on their religion. There are certainly areas of high crime in Europe as there are in the United States and other countries – where police and visitors enter with caution. We deeply regret the errors and apologize to any and all who may have taken offense including the people of France and England.
Jeanine Pirro also apologized madly and profusely too and also. Mediate has the videos. I must say it was rather nice and satisfying to watch the liars have to acknowledge their lies. The usual loons are over on the comment section trying to make the best of it and are coming up with all sorts of excuses.
So Sarah, bring your bullshit over to the UK. I promise you, they will eviscerate you.
I wonder are there any cheap flights from Dublin to Cambridge in March? Hmmm, off to google Ryanair. 😉
