He thinks Irish food is bland!
I LOVE Irish food. Especially potatoes!
This is a great blog!!
Yes, it is!
Have fun blogging, my dear friend. This should be good…..
Austin is a lovely person. And city. : )
You got that right. Austin IS a fecker!!
When you call Irish food bland…you deserve whatever comes your way.
Let me be the first to say “fuck” on the new blog.
Be very fecking careful!
No cussing allowed ?
So did you hear about the Irish chap who went to buy escargots for his wife, who was planning a delicious and decidedly not bland meal? On the way to the store, he was waylaid by his mates and spent the next few hours in the pub.
Finally, somewhat the worse for wear, he staggered home, tripped over the doorstep and dropped the snails all over the place. Furious, his wife yelled: “Where have you been? I’ve been waiting for hours! What took you so long?”
Gesturing to the escargots, he said, “Come on ye wee feckers. Keep going now, you’re nearly there!”
That is really funny! 🙂
Not to say that this blogger is fast, but that was quick!
I love the name of the blog … hehe!
Hey Irish! Kudos to you for creating your own blog. I’m definitely not there yet 🙂
Also, too, great naming it after one of our favorite fecking bloggers. I’m sure he is totally honored, even though not acknowledging that outright.
BTW, I’ve never figured out how the GOP can call a race when only 1% of the votes have been counted. After all, they were wrong in Iowa. However, that said, I can live with three different winners in three different races. What a wonderful fecking group of candidates!
Well, are we going to get some Irish recipes so we can decide for ourselves?? Potatoes and what? Green beer on St Patty’s Day? We don’t have many Irish Restaurants in the US but we do eat a lot of Corned Beef and cabbage. I’m a quarter Irish, but we never had “Irish” food that I knew about. We ate a lot of potatoes but we are German too and those Germans love their potatoes and cabbage too. I want some authentic Irish dishes so I can tell if it is band or not!!! 🙂 Austin is used to Tex-Mex and his taste buds are tainted!
blogging is tough!
For a statement about Irish Food (that would have counted as a tweet as it’s less than 140 characters) I think 15 + comments is pretty good. 🙂
Hey Irishgirl- love the blog. Love the name! Congrats.
I am trying to figure out how to get an icon on here. Think I finally have it- but seem to have 2 different names. Oh well- it is almost 3 am. No wonder I am having so much trouble. a demain mes amies/amis.

Now I lost the other comment- where I tell you I love your blog- love the name- and think this is going to be a hoot Irishgirl!
Congrats IrishGirl! Love the name of your blog.
The tellytubby won in SC!
Very funny first post!
Irish food is bland. There, I said it.
Well, someone had to right? I don’t mean any offense to any Irish people out there, heck, I’m part Irish! But I know some of you out there that live for themes (guilty as charged) are going to be on the look out for yummy Irish recipes. I’ll save you some time, take whatever Irish recipe you find and add about 2 tablespoons of salt. You’re welcome.
