Mittens Needs A Backbone

Mitt Romney is pathetic. He ignored the fact that a woman  at one of his town halls suggested that President Obama should be tried for treason.

He could badly do with one of these…

The man is so desperate to win the presidency he will do or say anything. He should have corrected that woman in no uncertain terms.

After his town hall meeting finished, reporters from The Washington Post and the New York Times asked Romney as he shook hands at the ropeline whether he agreed with the woman’s statement.

“No, no,” Romney said, shaking his head. “No, of course not.”

Later, Romney told CNN: “I don’t correct all of the questions that get asked of me. Obviously I don’t agree that he should be tried.”

Obama campaign spokeswoman Lis Smith accused Romney of having “failed” to stand up to “hateful” rhetoric.

“Time after time in this campaign, Mitt Romney has had the opportunity to show that he has the fortitude to stand up to hateful and over-the-line rhetoric, and time after time, he has failed to do so,” Smith said in a statement. “If this is the ‘leadership’ he has shown on the campaign trail, what can the American people expect of him as commander-in-chief?”

As Geoff Berg writes:

Romney picks up where Palin left off

In 2008, Sarah Palin wound down her absurd candidacy for Vice President with the kind of dignity you’d expect from her: She suggested that Barack Obama was disloyal to the United States and a friend to terrorists. Not surprisingly, some of the people who believed that she was qualified to be a heartbeat away from the presidency followed her lead

Unlike John McCain, Palin didn’t condemn the loons who showed up at rallies to blurt out their anger/oppression/violence fantasies in public.

Today in Ohio, Mitt Romney had his chance and went with the Palin method

Mitt Romney: All the dignity and courage of Sarah Palin, minus the charm of John McCain. America can’t wait.

Unbelievably, Romney is now taking credit for the bailout of the auto industry. The Huffington Post reports:

Despite his 2008 call to “let Detroit go bankrupt,” presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney said Monday that he would “take a lot of credit” for his impact on the U.S. automobile industry’s comeback.

During an interview with WEWS-TV in Cleveland following a campaign stop, Romney said his views helped save the industry.

The man lies as easily as Palin, and that takes some doing!

Let’s see him lie his way out of this!!! He likes to fire people. He wants to fire the President. This doesn’t bother him one little bit. He’d tie Him on the top of the car if he could and just smile like nothing was wrong. Poor Seamus. Poor POTUS!

He is such a very, unclassy POS — I just can not think of anything I could/would say in public (or online/facebook/etc. about him. He doesn’t even have any personality to make fun of. LOL

The State I live in is the most RED state in the country, so I am pretty much surrounded with STUPID — and all these folks that simply adore him — for what? Because he is a MORmON like almost everyone here!! (I saw that spelling on another’s response earlier, and thought I would ‘borrow’ to use it, also-too) 😮

    Have a good one – ♥

ps: Can you tell me why I have to re-log-in almost every time I respond here?
No problem, just curious how come that is?

Thanks for everything — Hugs ♥

I have no idea why you have to re-log in every time. That is a pain. Is anyone else having problems?

I just got to wondering if, although I come in here a few times a day, I do not always comment? ? Could it be the ‘comment program’ just forgets who I am, or maybe gets its feelings hurt 😦 — like when I do not use it all the time to comment? LOL

        Have a good one ♥
